Cooking Instructions:

1.     Rinse all dry ingredients gently.

2.     Soak cuttlefish in warm water for 20 mins and then cut into smaller pieces.

3.     Optional: Lightly toast the anchovies and dried shrimp in a little oil until fragrant to unlock maximum umami.

4.     In your pot or rice cooker, add 1 cup of washed rice and all soup pack ingredients with 1 litre of water.

5.     Bring to a boil, then reduced to a gentle simmer.

6.     Add 150g minced pork and/or 150g sliced fish if desired.

7.   Cook until rice breaks down into a thick, comforting savoury porridge.
